課程概述

This course aims to examine and evaluate the evidence-based methods of intervention and research on their effectiveness, and to apply to specific problems in social work practice.  

課程目標
 The goals of this course are to:

(1) Assist students in developing an understanding of available evidence-based methods for effective interventions with individuals, families, groups, and social service programs.

(2) Increase students’ knowledge of how to evaluate research evidence for specific intervention method.

(3) Assist students in developing knowledge of appropriate prevention and intervention methods for application in the context of social work values and ethics.
(4) Provide a safe classroom environment for students to practice their own skills in evidence-based practice.
 
課程要求
 The teacher expects students to:
(1) Participate in class discusstion actively.
(2) Preview readings before class.
(3) Submit assignments on time.
